I. LPI ID application

Step 1. Enter in http://www.lpi.org

Step 2. Click “Certification”

Step 3. Click “Register Now” to start LPI ID application

Step 4. 填寫個人資料，填妥後，點選 “ Register ”（資料填寫需用英文）

Step 5. 依個人需求選擇語系，選好後，點選 “ Save Preferences ”

Step 6. 填寫基本問卷，填妥後，點選 “ Continute ”

Step 7. LPI ID 已申請完成，LPI ID 會顯示於紅色色塊中，且 LPI 會將 LPI ID 及 Username 寄至您所填寫的 E-mail 信箱，
　　　收到後，即可至 VUE 註冊考試

II. Personal information login

Step 1. Enter in http://www.vue.com, Click “ Test Taker Services ”

Step 2. In “1) Narrow by cateory”, click “Information Technology (IT)”
　　　In “2) Select your testing program”, click “Linux Professional Institute (LPI)”
　　　※You can also directly enter in http://www.vue.com/lpi/ and the steps above can be omitted.

Step 3. 輸入您的 VUE 帳號/密碼，點選 “ Sign In ”，開始報名 LPI 考試
　　　 ※ 初次使用者，需先申請 Pearson VUE 帳號，點選 “ create a new web account ”

PEARSON VUE account application

Step 1. Please carefully fill in your personal information. After confirmation, then click “Next”.

• Please ensure the pinyin of your English name is in consistent with your name on passport.
• In “Previous Testing History”, if you’ve taken LPI test before, choose “Yes”. If you take LPI test for first time, choose “No”.
• If you have no LPI ID, please apply in LPI website (Please refer to “LPI ID application”).
• Please ensure your information is correct. LPI will send certificate according to your personal information.

Step 2. Please carefully fill in your contact information. After confirmation, click “Next”.

Step 3. Congratulation! PEARSON VUE account application has finished! You can receive your PEARSON VUE
　　　 account/password in your E-mail after one working day.

Change PEARSON VUE password

Step 1. 收到帳號密碼後，初次登錄 PEARSON VUE，須更改密碼，輸入 “ Username / First Name / Last Name ” ，
　　　點選 “ Next ”

Step 2. 此時請稍待一會，再至您的 E-mail 信箱收取 VUE 通知信，收到通知信後，請點選裡面的連結

Step 3. 輸入新的密碼，點選 “ Rest Password ”，即完成 VUE 密碼更新

Step 4. 登入 VUE，填寫密碼提醒資料，完成後，即可開始報名考試

III. Test registration

登入後，點選 “ Schedule a Test ” 開始預約 LPI 考試

Step 1. Select subject / language

• In “1. Select the exams that you wish to schedule”, choose your test subject. Then it will appear “2. Next you will need to select a language for all the exams listed below”.
• In “2. Next you will need to select a language for all the exams listed below”, choose your language (Note: Trash icon means you can delete your selected test center).
• After finishing the steps above, please click “Next”.

Step 2. Select test center

• In “Find the closest” pull-down menu, choose “10 centers” then click “Search”.
• Then it will appear ten test centers. Please choose “GeeGo System”.
• After finishing the steps above, it will appear your designate test center “GeeGo System”. Then click “Next” (Note: Trash icon means you can delete your selected test center).

Step 3. Select test date

• In “2. Select date” pull-down menu, choose your test date.
• After choosing test date, it will appear “3. View available appointments” then choose your test time.
• Then please click “Select Appointment”.
  
  
  
  
• After finishing the steps above, it will appear confirmation page. After confirmation, please click “Next”.
  
  

Step 4. Test registration confirmation / Voucher number

• Please confirm your personal information, test subject and test expense. If for no Voucher, please directly click “Next”.
• If for using Voucher, please enter Voucher number and then click “APPLY VOUCHER”.

Step 5. Payment

• Please fill in your billing address and credit card information. After confirmation, please click “Next”. Then you have finished your test registration.

IV. Notice

1. After finishing test registration, examination fee will be filled out by deducting your credit amount.
2. Please be present on time at your designate test center by your appointment.
3. If you want to change your test time, please change it three working days before original appointment.
4. Please bring your pairs of documents with photos when taking exam.
5. If you have any questions when registering test, please contact PEARSON VUE examinee service.
6. If you haven’t received confirmation when applying PEARSON VUE account, please contact PEARSON VUE examinee service.
